He is a Black Swan Open Art Competition winner and a Holburne Portrait Prize finalist. He co-founded Frome Community Education CIC, and is the writer and presenter of Seeing Things, a community radio programme about the visual arts. Before focusing on teaching art, David wrote drama and comedy for BBC Radio.
