Is There a Wolf in Your House?
Did you know that every dog has an ancestor that was a wolf? When you see that little puppy of yours sleeping in front of the hearth, it may be dreaming of its ancestors – racing through snowy forests with a wolf pack, hunting prey. Ned Barraud shows us ancient dogs journeying alongside Ice Age hunters and tells how some wolves slowly evolved into the dogs we know and love today. From mighty sled dogs and loyal guardians to tiny lapdogs and playful companions, every dog shares a remarkable story that began thousands of years ago in the wild.
